Association Announces the Teen Drivers Education Scholarship For 2013

The Yuba Sutter Indo American Business Association will give 16 Teens in the Yuba, Sutter, Colusa and Butte Couties the chance to win a scholarship to have their Drivers Education class paid for. Approximately 5-7 business people in the area will be asked to judge the teens based on their application, grades, letter of recommendation and essay. The packet (included here) needs to be completely filled out and everything mailed to the Asssociation and recieved NLT Jan 1, 2013 to be considered. Winners of the Scholarship will be announced on January 15, 2013. Students will be presented with the scholarship at an award dinner put on by the organization and its members. Teens that weren’t chosen for the scholarship will be able to reapply the following quarter. 4 Students each quarter will be chosen for the scholarship.
